Vermont Maple Grove – The Flavor of Breakfast

As the weather turns colder this fall, just like animals we begin to prepare for the winter – some fly south to avoid the cold, some gather and store food, and others prepare to hibernate over the winter.  We are called to the warmth of a cozy fire, we pull on our thick socks and slippers to warm our feet, and we are drawn to comfort foods and flavors.  For many, nothing ranks higher in the comfort food column than a hearty pancake breakfast.

This week many of us will be experiencing frosty nights and cooler days.
