Contests

Congratulations to Randy T. the winner from our Pumpkin Spice, Fall in Love contest on our Facebook Page and our Paramount Coffee Blog. This was the final week of our Season's Best Flavors contest, but check back soon for more contests and coffee prizes. Thanks again to all of you who posted and for playing along, Cheers!

Spice Up Your Next Family Gathering – Bring Pumpkin Spice

Nothing defines the autumn season like the aroma of clove, cinnamon and ginger in a tangle of flavors that makes our mouths water for pumpkin pie.  You can savor the taste of the season like no other with our last, but certainly not least, flavor in our Fall In Love line of coffees, Pumpkin Spice.  When you taste this coffee you will swear you are taking a bite of smooth, creamy pumpkin pie.  There are so many family gatherings or potlucks where a dish to pass is expected – why not change it up and bring the coffee for your next family holiday gathering?  This medium roast makes a perfectly thoughtful and timely hostess gift.

This is the time of year pumpkins make a big appearance - at the farm stand, in the produce department, decorating our homes, and on doorsteps everywhere, to remind us of this favorite fall flavor combination and all the other great things you can do with pumpkins.  This Halloween week is the perfect time to feature Pumpkin Spice from the seasonal favorites Fall In Love line of coffees.

Your last chance to WIN FREE COFFEE in our Fall In Love online coffee promotion is here. Inspired by pumpkins and pumpkin pie, Pumpkin Spice is our featured flavor in our online contest, which begins October 30 and ends November 2 at 9pm EST.  The contest is simple - answer our question in Facebook comments or on this blog and if you win the random drawing, you win Pumpkin Spice coffee.

Here is the question:  “Describe how you will use pumpkin this season?”

LOVE pumpkin this time of year!! I've been adding pumpkin with spices and almond milk to my coffee. I'm hoping to make individual, mini pumpkin pies for our Thanksgiving dinner with family.

I make pumpkin chowder when it cools off in the fall. I know that sounds weird, and I thought so the first time someone else made it, but when you add spices, pureed onions and celery and butter, it creates a rich soup that warms you to the bone and satisfies your hunger.

I have recently discovered that I love fall. I have always been a summer lover, but the past few years I have been more excited about fall. A major part of that love is pumpkin. Everything pumpkin. This year we had our first pumpkin carving party (on Halloween) and it included a pumpkin soup and pumpkin caramel dip. My mom also contributed to my week of pumpkin by making pumpkin custards, and my friend made some wonderful pumpkin bars for Halloween, too. It has been a glorious week, and I plan for it to continue over the next month!

After the kids scoop out the pumpkin guts, I always sift through to get the seeds and bake them. It's a wonderful treat!

My grandma taught us girls when we were little to make pumpkin oatmeal. Nothing like it, I make it every year and think of her! :)
